What medium did you use for this piece?

I used acrylic paint.

What inspired you to make this piece?

I was inspired by the seasons and each one’s unique beauty.

What do you like most about this piece?

I like the amount of detail that is put into each part of the canvas and that I was able to be super intricate on a snap space. This was my first time painting on a miniature canvas so being able to use shadowing, blending and other techniques made me feel really accomplished.

What does this piece mean to you?

This piece signifies that everything will come and go but it’s important to make the most of it. It’s portrayed within the 4 seasons. In the fall when nature starts to die, there’s no more green, yet it’s still the trees look so beautiful with their different colors. Whether it’s rain or snow every single season has its own inner beauty just like every single person has their own special self. This piece is meant to be inspiring and motivating.
