Mahati Thiyagarajan, a freshman, is a part of The Purple Tide. She loves to read books and play music on her clarinet. Writing is an activity she likes to do for fun. Mahati enjoys playing basketball and badminton in her free time. Her favorite vacation spot is the beach, and collecting souvenirs from places she visits is her way of remembering fun memories.
