Gymnastics flips into the new season

Senior Hannah Liddiard performs a wolf turn on the beam. Liddiard ended with a score of 7.8 on beam. “Gymnastics is important to me because it has made me confident and showed me how powerful I am when competing and learning new skills,” Liddiard said.

Gymnastics held their first meet of the season at home on Nov. 30, competing against Oakton, South Lakes, Centreville, Wakefield, Yorktown and Patriot High Schools. The gymnasts performed solo routines on the vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor. The team consists of 13 members.
