Irene Si is a senior and this is her fourth year with the Purple Tide. She’s also a tutor at the school’s Writing Center. In her free time, she loves to read poetry, play Sudoku and go on picnics with her family. She’s an iced chai latte enthusiast and has a bad habit of buying too many candles.

On Thursday, March 31, multiple students head home after school by crossing Stringfellow Road. When inconvenient, many choose to ignore the crossing signal or the crosswalk entirely, walking across the road directly in front of the Chantilly Regional Library entrance.
